anyone else miss the comatorium? i wish i could read all the omar album discussions that were there

i'm guessing most people would be, i really miss all the people and reliable source of information in a nice classic forum vs reddit and other social media that i just dont get.

i wasnt into omars spanish stuff until the past few years, and i am completely obsessed. i've wished i had archived the site somehow, i wish i could have saved all the frances the mute discussions, right down to the name meanings, people transcripting live lyrics from the bootlegs, fan translations of spanish for the non spanish speaking fans. i wish i had saved the discussions about every single mars volta album, omar albums, and omar and cedric related bands like at the drive in. the omar album discussions per album could go up the 50 pages. i would have loved to sifted through the xenophanes discussions to see what people were saying about the story, and many more omar albums. the obscure mars volta referenes that people caught onto.

anyone use the wayback machine? i find its pretty annoying to use, because you can see some of the newest coma pages, but when you click a thread/topic, the wayback machine doesnt necissarily capture everything from that date, so you have to check all sorts of dates, maybe copying the topic url from the ones that dont work, and trying them at different dates
