There are a few albums that are definitely crying out for a remaster - Aranas and Unicorn Skeleton Mask being the main suspects. But mainly I would just love to see some of them being issued on vinyl again. Every time I think about it though, I wonder how Clouds Hill would choose which records to do, as reissuing them all would not be the most financially prudent move considering the amount haha
Maybe they could start with some of 'classics' that are already on vinyl but out of print and high in price, like Escorpion, Xenophanes, Cizana, etc and then start making picks from the Ipecac era?

Shipping logistics and costs alone would be crazy.

Do you think they'd put it to vote? o.o
If so, what albums would you want the most in say, an 8 LP vinyl box?
Basically I suppose that's 'what are your top 8 ORL records' :P

Is it the whole catalogue we're talking about ?
That's way too hard.

I wish the Ipecac series would first get vinyl pressing, considering it never had and how badly handled it was promoted.
Like, Ipecac albums would need a Telestrion volume 2.
It's so diverse ! and plenty of quality there as well, though I know those are not the most popular solo releases from Omar.
To show that diversity, I'd take a box with Sworn Virgins, Umbrella Mistress, Zapopan, Roman Lips, Zen Thrills, Azul mis dientes, Killing tingled lifting retreats and let's say Weekly mansion

yeah i agree, i would first love them to tackle that series because it had no physical release at all!
good selection there. Cell Phone Bikini deserves too, and if Aranas got a remaster... Blind Worms... fuck there are so many great albums in that series its unreal. El Bien y mal Nos Une / Un Escorpion 2LP?!
looking back at it its like such a wealth of incredible material that i wonder if it will ever get its fair shake of time in the sun

Absolutely paid out the behind for this but worth it.

the idea of a massive boxset covering everything seemed insane, but it actually happened. it still seems insane. but i am so glad for it, i didn't get the box but being able to get a bunch that i love is just so good and i know i probably won't be able to help picking up some others over time here and there if they are just going to be available from now. i've seen different record stores just selling the individual records and i wonder how they select which they are going to stock haha
